Glass Violins

In 2012 the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra asked me to decorate a violin for their annual fundraiser auction. Rather than just decorating the outside of the violin, I chose to disassemble it and make a glass front and back. Then I rebuilt the violin, combining the new glass parts with the original wooden sides, neck and accessories. The violin was very popular and I was asked to make additional ones for 2013 and 2014. In 2015 the James Renwick Alliance asked me to make one for their Spring Craft Weekend fundraiser.
